Waterfall Fountains
A waterfall fountain is an outdoor fountain, shaped much like a waterfall. The main concept is that, the water flows from the top of the fountain and flows downward. This is a little different from a tiered fountain. A tiered fountain has a number of tiers, so the fountain is like a mini waterfall at each tier. A waterfall fountain is different from this because it features one large waterfall, or one large tier. There might be smaller bumps along the path of the water.
Here you can see the difference between a waterfall fountain and a tiered fountain. A waterfall fountain, left, has a waterfall effect due to the way the rocks are situated, and the way the water is flowing.
