Desktop Fountains
What a cool concept, a desktop fountain is, don't you agree? Ten to twenty years ago, having this kind of compact technology was almost unheard of. Now, with cell phones that fit into the palm of our hands, we have the technology to create small fountains that can fit on your desk. Having a desktop fountain is very relaxing. Sure, you have to get some work done tonight, but listening to the soothing cascade of your desktop fountain will help to relax you while working, and keep your attention to your work.
Make your own desktop fountainMaking your own desktop fountain is actually really easy. If you want a small desktop fountain, grab some cups, bowels or plates. In this exercise we'll use small bowels. Cut small holes out of the bottom of each bowel. You then need a small rod or stick glued between the two bowels to separate them. You can have the bowels at either end of the rod, pointing alternate directions, or pointing the same direction, up to you. Then run a small tube with a water pump from one bowel to the other through the holes and you have a working fountain.
